We're now looking for a service worker for our operations at OKG in Oskarshamn. Here you'll become part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the facility's outdoor environments and service functions at a high standard – year-round. About the Role As a service worker, you'll have a broad and varied role working with both grounds maintenance and property services. You're responsible for ensuring the facility's outdoor environments are well-maintained, safe, and functional, while also assisting with practical service tasks based on operational needs. Work is planned according to recurring maintenance tasks and incoming fault reports or deviations, meaning work days vary and require a solution-oriented approach. Examples of Work Tasks - Grounds maintenance and upkeep of the facility's outdoor environments. - Grass cutting, trimming, and clearing of green areas. - Pruning of trees, shrubs, and hedges. - Snow removal, de-icing, sweeping, and cleaning. - Operating wheel loaders and other work machinery. - Minor property maintenance and caretaking tasks. - Handling incoming fault reports and deviations, as well as minor repairs and maintenance work. - Supervision and minor maintenance of machinery and equipment. - Ensuring work is performed according to applicable safety, quality, and environmental requirements. We're Looking for You You enjoy practical work and thrive with varied tasks where you can use both your body and mind. You're self-directed, take responsibility for your work tasks, and see what needs to be done without waiting for instructions. Since the work takes place in a safety-critical facility, you're thorough, quality-conscious, and have a strong safety mindset. You also have a service-oriented approach and contribute to good collaboration with both colleagues and clients. Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: - Driver's license (Category B). - Experience with grounds maintenance, property maintenance, caretaking, contracting work, or similar practical work. - Experience operating grass cutters, brush cutters, or other motorized equipment. - Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. It's a merit if you have: - Brush cutter certification. - Chainsaw certification. - Wheel loader certification and experience operating wheel loaders. - Experience in areas such as carpentry, machinery maintenance, machinery repair and maintenance, or other practical competencies or skills that could contribute to the operation.
