The Permits & Rights unit works to secure and manage new concessions and rights for power lines, which are prerequisites for the company to build and maintain the power grid. Today we are approximately 55 people in the unit working in four departments located in different locations from north to south. In Solna and Uppsala, the department works with transmission line and substation projects in central Sweden primarily. The department has a broad area of responsibility and there is an opportunity to adapt, based on your profile and experience, which areas you will contribute to. As a Real Estate Law Specialist, you will work on challenging and varied tasks within the real estate law field. Your main areas of responsibility include: Contribute real estate law expertise to large investment projects where new power lines or substations are planned and designed Manage and lead consultants Represent the company at surveying procedures Participate in rights investigations Secure land access and conduct property acquisitions within Vattenfall Eldistribution's project operations Participate in physical consultation meetings in transmission projects Contribute to developing the operation and our processes Job Requirements We are looking for someone who has: A university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) in surveying, forestry/agronomy, law with a focus on real estate law, or civil engineering. Alternatively, other education combined with experience assessed as equivalent Several years of current and relevant work experience with real estate law matters The ability to express yourself professionally in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English A valid driver's license (category B) It is a merit if you have experience in one or more of the following areas: Land acquisition in infrastructure projects Property acquisitions Forest and/or agricultural valuations Handling of surveying procedures GIS We place great importance on your personal qualities. As a person, you are responsible and well-organized with the ability to drive your work forward. You thrive in a role with many contact points and have a natural ability to build good relationships, both internally and externally. At the same time, you are confident in representing the operation in dialogues and negotiations, even when the issues encounter resistance.
