Real Estate Project Manager / Construction Project Manager – Jämtland Region
Are you an experienced project manager in construction and real estate who enjoys driving projects from concept to delivery? Our client is seeking consultants for upcoming assignments in real estate and construction project management in the Jämtland Region.
About the Assignment
The role involves leading construction and real estate projects – renovations, maintenance projects, and investments in public facilities – from planning through execution to completion. You will manage budgets, timelines, contractors, and clients while ensuring the project delivers according to decisions and established goals.
We are looking for someone who wants to be available for upcoming consulting assignments where your expertise can quickly make a difference in a professional and community-focused operation. The exact content, scope, and working approach vary between assignments.
Responsibilities
Lead real estate and construction projects through planning, procurement, execution, and completion
Manage budget, timeline, risk, and quality
Coordinate contractors, consultants, tenants, and clients
Monitor contracts and manage changes and additions
Report to steering committees and real estate management
Requirements for the Role
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within construction or real estate
Experience with budget, timeline, risk, and contractor coordination
Strong knowledge of the construction process and relevant contract types (AB/ABT)
Driver's license (Category B)
Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with public facilities (schools, healthcare, care facilities, offices)
Experience with public procurement of contracts (LOU)
Post-secondary education in construction, real estate, or engineering
Experience with projects in ongoing operations

Work Location and Arrangement
The assignments are located in the Jämtland Region and primarily involve on-site work at the facility, often combined with travel to properties and projects within the region. Hybrid arrangements may apply for parts of the work. The exact workplace, working hours, and practical setup will always be presented before you commit to a specific assignment. Assignment length and scope vary – full-time or part-time depending on the assignment. Start dates are rolling.
