Sydnärkes Utbildningsförbund is a municipal federation located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of our member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and contracted training. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. We have a total of approximately 1,800 students, of which 1,300 attend Alléskolan and 500 attend Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in our daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. About the Position As Property Manager/Assistant Property Director, you have overall responsibility for the federation's facilities and properties, comprising approximately 25,000 m². We are seeking someone who combines technical expertise with present and clear leadership. In your role as Property Manager/Assistant Property Director, you will lead and develop the properties and service unit together with three committed employees. You are responsible for budgets, investment and maintenance plans, while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and government requirements. Your work involves both ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and that the organization always receives professional and high-quality service. An important part of the assignment is to drive development initiatives with a focus on sustainable and fit-for-purpose facilities that meet future needs. You will work closely with school management, operational representatives, and external partners. This position combines strategic decisions with operational responsibility, making the work both varied and developmental. Qualifications We are seeking someone who has: Experience in property management and technical property operations, preferably within public sector Experience with budgeting and long-term planning Relevant post-secondary education in property management or technical background deemed equivalent B-class driver's license and strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is also meritorious if you have: Documented experience leading, inspiring, and developing employees Personal Qualities To thrive in this role, we see that you are self-driven but also enjoy collaborating with others.
