About the Workplace I'm a man who uses a wheelchair and need support in my daily life. As my personal assistant, you'll help me with everyday tasks – but the job is also about companionship, security, and creating a functioning and pleasant everyday life together. I enjoy: baking and cooking good food painting and being creative spending time with my grandchildren being outdoors when the weather and my mood allow having a coffee at home in peace and quiet – or at a café in town I like to follow the news and enjoy conversations about what's happening in the world. I also like to try new things – so if you have ideas and energy, feel free to take me on both everyday adventures and some silly escapades! There are also younger children in the home, and we have a house where it's easy to feel welcome. Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for you – someone who is cheerful, social, and enjoys working closely with people. About the Employment For the right person, we intend to fill an available fixed part-time schedule (38.75%) that includes: Every other weekend (Fri–Sun) on EVEN weeks 9:00 AM–2:00 PM + 4:00 PM–8:00 PM Every other week one Thursday on ODD weeks 9:00 AM–2:00 PM + 4:30 PM–8:00 PM There is an opportunity for more hours during vacation and other absences. During the summer months, a full-time position is always offered when others in the group are on vacation. We want to fill the position immediately, so don't delay your application. Interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Requirements You need to speak and understand Swedish fluently, as the work requires clear communication. Since there are children in the home, you need to submit a current extract from the criminal record register (no more than 2 months old).
