Paratransit Unit Do you want to contribute to giving people the opportunity to travel safely and independently? Right now we're looking for two paratransit case handlers! As a paratransit case handler at Jönköpings Länstrafik, you'll use your expertise to make legally sound decisions and provide excellent service to residents of the region. The role of paratransit case handler As a paratransit case handler, you work with investigating, assessing, and making decisions about eligibility for paratransit and national paratransit services. The work is carried out according to current legislation and guidelines and encompasses the entire process – from application to decision and potential appeals. You'll have many contacts, primarily by phone, with customers, relatives, care personnel, municipalities, and colleagues within Länstrafiken. Through our shared commitment, we create security and legal certainty for residents of the region. Examples of work tasks in the role: • Investigate and decide on customers' need for paratransit and national paratransit services • Provide support and assistance to regional residents with questions about paratransit and national paratransit services • Inform about our public transportation and service trips • Participate in developing operations together with colleagues These are permanent full-time positions with start date by agreement. Your profile We're looking for someone with relevant higher education for the position, for example in law, behavioral science, or social work. You have experience with public authority duties and experience working with investigations, decision-making, and application of laws and regulations. You have knowledge of disabilities and accessibility. To thrive with us, you need to: • Be confident in making decisions and able to explain them in a clear and respectful manner • Have strong ability to meet people with responsiveness and professionalism • Work in a structured way and ensure legal certainty in every decision • Find it easy to learn digital systems/tools and have very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
