Your Responsibilities Your main responsibilities as a Family Law Secretary are to conduct cooperation meetings, information meetings, issue statements, and prepare agreements, as well as conduct investigations regarding custody, residence, and visitation rights. You will also handle visitation support according to the Parental Code, and investigate adoption cases. You will also handle name and passport matters, counseling and support conversations, as well as paternity and parenthood investigations. The role requires you to have a strong ability to build and create relationships with the families you meet, as well as good collaboration both internally and externally. Your Profile You have a degree in social work and preferably experience with authority work within child welfare. Meriting qualifications include experience working with family law matters. We are looking for someone with knowledge of current legislation and good command of the Swedish language. You need to enjoy expressing yourself in speech and writing, as a large part of the work involves writing documents to the court. We are looking for someone who is confident in yourself and your professional role and has a strong ability to collaborate. We value qualities such as humility, flexibility, and modesty. Knowledge of Finnish language is desirable but not required. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, you need to be calm and confident and have achieved both personal and professional maturity. Good knowledge of child development is desirable, as is good organization, strong sense of responsibility, and professional conduct. A B-class driver's license is required. A criminal record check will be requested prior to employment within the Social Services Department, in accordance with applicable legislation.
