Experienced family care consultant – with focus on quality, matching, and collaboration. Prosperum Family Care is seeking an experienced family care consultant with solid knowledge of family care services, an established professional network, and extensive experience with placement processes. Prosperum Family Care is part of a stable and well-established operation with existing residential care services for youth ages 13–17. The family care services are covered by several framework agreements, including ADDA, and we are continuing to develop the operation with focus on quality, long-term sustainability, and secure placements. We are looking for someone who has worked with family care services for several years and who is comfortable with the entire process – from assessment and evaluation of foster homes to matching, placement, supervision, and follow-up. It is important to us that you have solid experience handling placement requests and understand what is required to professionally and promptly find the right foster home based on each child's or youth's individual needs. Your Role As a family care consultant, you have a central role in creating stable and sustainable placements. You work closely with foster families, social services, and other collaborative partners and are responsible for ensuring that each placement process is characterized by quality, structure, and the best interests of the child. Your responsibilities include: Recruit and assess foster homes Conduct interviews, home visits, reference checks, and evaluations Prepare comprehensive foster home assessments Receive and evaluate placement requests Match children and youth with appropriate foster homes Maintain ongoing dialogue with social services and placing municipalities Support and mentor foster families during active placements Follow up on services and ensure thorough documentation Contribute to the operation's quality and methodology work Help develop and maintain a stable network of foster homes and collaborative contacts What We're Looking For We seek someone who already has a secure professional identity within family care services and is experienced in working independently. You need a good understanding of how municipal placement processes function and be comfortable managing requests where both pace and quality are important. We would appreciate it if you have built a relevant professional network within social services and family care through your previous work, as good collaboration and established contact channels are an important part of the role. We are looking for someone who has: A degree in social work or other relevant academic education Multiple years of documented experience in family care services Experience independently conducting family home assessments Strong experience with matching and placement processes Experience collaborating with social services and placing municipalities An established professional network in the field Very strong knowledge of relevant legislation, documentation, and quality requirements Ability to work in a structured, independent manner with sound judgment Valid driver's license (Class B) It is a merit if you have previously held overall responsibility within family care services or been involved in developing a family care operation. As a Person You are secure, professional, and relationship-oriented. You have the ability to quickly form a clear picture of a child's or youth's needs and can simultaneously make well-founded assessments of which foster home can provide the right support and stability. You are accustomed to working with social workers and other professional actors and understand the value of high availability, clear communication, and long-term relationships. We are primarily looking for someone experienced enough to independently drive a placement process forward, while always keeping quality and the child's best interests as guiding principles. This position involves travel and a valid driver's license is required.
