About the position The unit we are recruiting for is called Humana Balans family foster care and currently consists of 3 family home consultants located in Luleå. The unit works together with Umeå family foster care which has family home consultants in Umeå, Härnösand, Sundsvall and Östersund. The unit manager is based in Umeå. Our service area covers Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland and Jämtland. As a family home consultant with us, the work is very flexible and many tasks can be done remotely. We want you to be located in or based out of Luleå or Norrbotten County. In this role, you work with recruiting, investigating, training and mentoring family homes. You serve as professional support in their important assignment. We also have close collaboration with our open care services and can offer combined interventions when needed. Your main responsibilities: Recruit, investigate and train family homes. Support and guide on-call and family homes in their assignments. Establish and maintain good customer contacts and ensure ongoing written documentation of supervision activities. Actively contribute to the development of our consultant-supported family foster care through evidence-based methods. Be part of our team but also work independently and take responsibility for your own cases. Participate in on-call duty (evenings and weekends occur). Who are you? Stress management: You are stress-resilient, organized and comfortable managing multiple processes simultaneously, even during periods of high pace. Duration/Working hours: Permanent employment, 100%, trust-based working hours. 6 months probation applies. Start date: by agreement. For this position you must: be educated as a social worker with at least three years of experience working in municipal social services have a B driving license and be comfortable with driving, as the position involves regular travel to our family homes.
