Family Therapist at the High-Intensity Team, Hisingen

Description Do you want to be a central part of supporting children and families on Hisingen? Then this position might be for you. The High-Intensity Team (HIT) is part of the Department of Children and Young People Resources Hisingen, which provides support to children, young people, and their parents. We are now seeking a new team member to join our High-Intensity Team, which currently consists of ten family therapists and one clinical supervisor. The High-Intensity Team works on behalf of municipal social services with qualified psychosocial treatment interventions for families with children and adolescents aged 0-18 years. We work with families where there is high concern and often complex issues, offering flexible and intensive solutions with the goal of enabling the child to remain at home or reducing the number of days in residential care. The unit also provides care assessments. Our work is based on various evidence-based methods and takes the form of socioeducational work, individual sessions with children and young people, parental support, and family sessions. We work in the families' own environments, primarily in the home. Our work also places great emphasis on activating both private and professional networks. The intervention can take different forms depending on need, which may involve work during early mornings and evenings. We have regular clinical supervision with an external supervisor as well as internal methodology supervision. Our High-Intensity Team is in a creative and expansive phase where we are together developing the forms of our work. With us, you have the opportunity to contribute to this exciting work! Qualifications We are seeking someone who is educated as a social worker or has a 3-year socioeducational education. You need experience working with various forms of family therapy, youth work, or parental support, as well as solid knowledge of child and youth development, needs, and behavioral patterns. It is advantageous if you also have experience in municipal child and youth services. The same applies to experience working with children, young people, or families in residential care. An important part of our work involves documentation, and it is therefore important that you can express yourself well in speech and writing and have experience documenting. We document in the Treserva program. It is meritious if you are trained in methods directed toward our target group with a focus on both strengthening interaction and developing parental strategies, such as FFT, COS-P, ABFT, or CBT-based methods. It is also an advantage if you are trained in MI and TMO. To fit the role, it is important that you are committed to meeting families in a way that creates trusting collaboration and motivation for change. You take responsibility for your tasks with the organization's/users' best interests in focus. You need to be self-directed, work systematically and methodically, be able to make independent decisions, and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy seeing possibilities for change and create situations where new ideas and suggestions can develop. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and have an open and positive attitude as you base your actions on the user's/customer's needs.
