WORK DUTIES Here you have the opportunity to meet children and young people early and contribute to ensuring that the right support is provided before problems grow larger. As a family counselor in our newly formed unit First Line Social Services, you provide interventions without needs assessment (IUB) and contribute to children and young people receiving support at home and in their everyday environments. You become part of a multidisciplinary team with social workers in reception, preventive social workers, SSPF coordinator, field workers, family support workers, and family counselors. Using Signs of Safety as an approach, we help children, young people, and their networks discover and use their resources for positive development. You have the opportunity to contribute to the development of supportive and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and their parents/networks. You collaborate closely with family counselor colleagues and preventive social workers to provide early support in cases such as school social problems or norm-breaking behavior. We also collaborate with child healthcare centers. The position includes, among other things: • Advice and support conversations individually and in groups • Treatment interventions for children, young people, and guardians • Lead group activities • Documentation responsibility This is a job for you who wants a varied position where you meet people in need of support. The workdays are varied and suit you if you like working flexibly and creatively. You will receive introduction from colleagues and your supervisor, external supervision, and training in Signs of Safety. The work takes place both independently and together with colleagues. We collaborate with the Social and Care Administration's operations and external actors. Evening work occurs. With us, you get to work preventively and relationship-building in a new unit where you can influence both working methods and development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a degree as a social worker or equivalent and have good ability to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. For the position, we also see that you need to have previous experience with psychosocial change work. Good IT skills are a requirement as well as a category B driver's license since you will be using a car in the position. It is meritorious if you have relevant training in therapeutic methods and motivational interviewing. Furthermore, you have experience working with evidence-based methods. We would like to see that you have previous experience and knowledge in Signs of Safety. It is also meritorious if you have experience working within individual and family services and/or with evidence-based methods. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience with parental support programs such as COPE. We are looking for you who are secure and stable as a person. You have the ability to shift focus with short notice and adjust your planning, as situations can change quickly. In treatment work directed at individuals, you usually work alone, and therefore you need to be self-directed and manage your work independently. We are looking for you who enjoy collaborating with others and are stimulated by outreach and relationship-building work. You have an ability to pay attention to others' perspectives and give everyone space in the group in a way that benefits the whole. We highly value the ability to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts, as well as the ability to constructively adapt how you communicate depending on the situation and target group. You see and use networks as a natural part of creating and developing relationships with clients and in internal and external collaboration. You take responsibility for your tasks, drive the work forward, and have the ability to make decisions quickly. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment.
