Ref: 20261651 Responsibilities We are expanding our operations and hiring several colleagues to work as family treatment specialists with children, adolescents, and their parents. As a family treatment specialist, you will conduct change and treatment work with children, adolescents (0-18 years), and their families based on assignments from investigating social workers. The goal is to strengthen protective factors and reduce risk factors. The work is conducted from a salutogenic perspective and a systemic approach, where a holistic and family perspective is important for change. We use a combination of evidence-based methods and proven experience. The content of treatment work is individually tailored to the child's or adolescent's needs and is developed together with the children, adolescents, and their parents based on the assignment. The role also includes network work and collaboration with the family's private and professional network. Work is conducted both independently and together with other family treatment specialists and can, if necessary, be performed outside office hours. We offer a workplace with engaged and experienced colleagues where job satisfaction and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life. With us, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise, be creative, and develop in your professional role. We expect that you, like us, have a flexible work approach and want to contribute your commitment to further developing our operations in a positive spirit. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a social worker or has other equivalent university or college education that the employer deems relevant. You have documented experience working with psychosocial change and/or treatment work and with children, youth, and their families. You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. You need a B driver's license and driving experience with a manual transmission vehicle. It is advantageous if you have: - Experience with similar work in open care where you have worked systemically - Experience working with children/youth and their parents with mental health issues, norm-breaking behavior, school problems, and neuropsychiatric functional impairments - Education and practical experience with evidence-/knowledge-based methods in the field of treatment for children and families, such as Step 1 Family Therapy or CBT - Experience with documentation and self-assessments in Journal Digital - Language skills in one of Malmö's major languages The work is characterized by close collaboration, which means we value good teamwork and a willingness to contribute to a positive work environment. We believe you thrive with taking responsibility, are flexible and independent, and have a solution-oriented approach. In the role, you will sometimes encounter challenging and complex situations. Therefore, we see that you are resilient, confident, and have the ability to handle changes and setbacks constructively. You work in a structured manner, plan and organize your work well, and drive your tasks forward with a focus on quality and development. We build our daily work on stability, trust, and confidence in each other. We value a development-oriented approach where quality is central and where we always focus on creating the best possible results for those we serve. At the same time, we think it is important to have fun together and contribute to a workplace where both we and the operations have the opportunity to develop. About the Workplace The Individual and Family Operations Area is divided into investigation and intervention, where the Family Services Unit is part of Intervention for Children and Families. The unit has several different sections, and we are now recruiting for the south section, which is located at Agnesfridsvägen 2. There may be additional needs in another section within the unit. Family Services Unit is a forward-thinking operation driven by development. Several parallel processes are underway at both the section and unit level regarding method development and other development issues. We focus on children's rights and want to make children and adolescents participants in family treatment. At the same time, we also want to follow up in various ways on the difference our interventions make for families. With us, you are offered introduction, internal and external supervision, continuous professional development, flexible working hours, wellness allowance, and the opportunity for vacation exchange.
