You will be part of open care within IFO Child and Family and will join an engaged team of family therapists. We work with support for children, young people, and their families through both individual interventions and structured treatment programs.
The new social services act means increased investment in early, accessible, and knowledge-based interventions. Through this project employment, you will have an important role in developing our working methods and creating conditions for more families to receive the right support at the right time.
Your New Work Tasks
Your main assignment is to work with interventions without individual needs assessment (IUB) and associated documentation. If needed, you may also receive assignments from social workers.
The work includes:
planning, implementing, and documenting IUB interventions
providing support and treatment to children, young people, and families on assignment from social workers
coordinating with social workers and other professionals
contributing to the development of the service's working methods based on the new social services act
contributing to ensuring that the service offers early, accessible, and knowledge-based interventions
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits in an area relevant to the assignment, for example social worker, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer considers equivalent
experience of treatment work with children, young people, and families
good documentation skills and the ability to express yourself well orally and in writing
good computer skills
Driver's license category B with manual transmission
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have education or experience in one or more of the following methods:
Signs of Safety
PYC (Parenting Young Children)
Repulse
Tryggare Barn
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
or other evidence-based methods for work with children, young people, and families.
Your Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and has a genuine interest in change work with children and families. You work in a structured way, take responsibility for your tasks, and have good collaboration skills. You are flexible and see opportunities in development work and change.
