JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work with children, young people, and families who need advice, support, or treatment to create positive changes and move forward in life. The best interests of the child are always the starting point for our work, and we strive to offer the right support based on each individual's and family's needs. Interventions can be both formally assessed and informal, and are carried out in the home, in our facilities, or at another appropriate location. As a therapist, you plan and implement treatment interventions with a focus on strengthening individuals' and families' own resources and creating sustainable changes over time. Your role includes offering support to children and parents, both individually and in groups. You work with the entire family system and use a holistic perspective to contribute to long-term solutions that strengthen the family's capacity and well-being. You collaborate closely with colleagues within your own operations as well as with other municipal services and external partners. Through good collaboration, you contribute to coordinating interventions and ensuring that children, young people, and families receive safe, cohesive, and appropriate support. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other university education that the employer considers equivalent and relevant for the position. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Social Services Act (SoL), and the Act on Special Provisions Regarding Care of Young People (LVU). You have experience with treatment work and change work with families from a systemic perspective and see the individual's needs in context. We would like you to have at least two to three years of experience working with children, young people, and families within social services, open care, or treatment operations. You have experience planning and implementing structured treatment and support interventions, and leading parental support programs such as Komet, ABC, or similar programs with scientific backing. To succeed in this role, you are a confident and stable person with good self-awareness. You have the ability to build trusting relationships and meet children, young people, and families in vulnerable and complex situations in a professional and respectful manner. You enjoy working together with others and have experience collaborating with schools, child and adolescent mental health services, residential care facilities, healthcare, and other actors. You are accustomed to documenting according to social services guidelines and work systematically according to applicable legislation, guidelines, and procedures. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is a merit if you have: • education in network work • experience working with abused children and families or families with substance abuse issues, • further training in conversation methods, such as MI, CBT, solution-focused methods, or family therapeutic interventions. A driver's license is a requirement since home visits are part of the work. The position may also involve some evening work to meet families' needs. Employment type: Permanent employment.
