Responsibilities The field team in Northeast conducts socially preventive, promotive, and outreach work with young people aged 10–20 years. The core of the mission is to build trusting relationships with young people – especially those at risk or displaying norm-breaking behavior. The work involves: - being present in environments where young people spend time, during daytime, evenings, and weekends - establishing and maintaining relationships with young people over time - identifying risk and protective factors and acting based on these - motivating young people toward change, activities, and positive contexts - collaborating with schools, social services, police, civil society, and other actors - documenting and following up on work Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - a degree in social work or other education that the employer deems equivalent - good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is meritorious if you have: - experience with field work or other outreach work with young people - experience working with young people at risk - further education in, for example, youth work, social work, or behavioral science - language skills beyond Swedish - a B-level driver's license Who Are You? We are looking for someone who: - can stay present in difficult conversations and situations without backing away - has the ability to set boundaries while maintaining the relationship - works independently and takes responsibility in situations where you need to make your own decisions - is flexible and can adapt your work style based on situation and individual - has good collaboration skills and can navigate cooperation with multiple actors - has an understanding of different living conditions, cultures, and how these affect young people's opportunities You need to enjoy work where the structure is not always predetermined, and where you together with colleagues help shape work methods based on need.
