Do you want to make a concrete difference for children and young people – and have fun at work at the same time? As a field worker at the Individual and Family Treatment Unit, you will become an important part of Härnösand's journey toward a safe, inclusive, and hopeful society. Together with committed colleagues, you will be there for young people where they are – at youth centers, in school environments, and out in the community – building relationships that make a difference, both now and in the long term.
The Individual and Family Treatment Unit is part of social services' work with children, young people, and families. Here you will meet social workers, social pedagogues, treatment specialists, and other professionals who work closely together on both preventive and supportive interventions. We are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy testing new ways to reach young people. You will have significant responsibility while having a stable team and engaged leadership supporting you.
Härnösand Municipality is in the midst of an exciting societal transformation, where sustainability, community, and hope for the future are in focus. We are the municipality's largest employer and offer a broad work environment with good development opportunities, benefits such as wellness allowances and the opportunity to exercise during work time, as well as flexible working arrangements that make it easier to balance everyday life.

In your role as a field worker, you will work proactively and preventively with young people in Härnösand. You will be where young people are, create safe contacts, and be an adult who listens, supports, and sometimes challenges – in a respectful way. The work takes place during both day and evening hours, and you will collaborate closely with colleagues and other actors in the municipality.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in, for example, social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, leisure pedagogy, or other relevant education in social work. You have experience meeting children and young people in different life situations and are comfortable discussing both fun and difficult things. You enjoy being out in the field, taking initiative, and following up your work in a structured way.
Post-secondary education in social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, leisure pedagogy, or equivalent relevant field.
3 years of experience in preventive and proactive work with young people.
Experience in social work within the child and family field.
Knowledge of children's and young people's development and living conditions.
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
Basic digital competence and experience working in documentation and planning systems.
It is meritorious if you have worked in or near social services, or within nonprofit organizations and youth activities. Perhaps you have experience from school environments or civic organizations, or are experienced in driving projects and activities with young people. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating positive environments where young people can thrive.
Experience working in municipal social services or similar activities.
Experience in youth activities, civic organizations, or youth groups.
Experience in collaboration between different professions and activities.
Experience planning and leading groups or activities for young people.

As a person, you are calm, confident, and clear, even when things get a bit hectic.
