Facility Manager at Artifex in Färgelanda

We are looking for someone who thrives in a production-oriented environment, can make quick decisions, and wants to lead our facilities team forward. About the role As Facility Manager at Artifex in Färgelanda, you take overall responsibility for operation, maintenance, and development of our factory properties and technical installations (totaling 28,000 sqm plus storage tents). Some maintenance we handle ourselves, but much is contracted out to external contractors. The equipment is a few years old (ventilation, water pumps, cooling machines, compressed air), but we set aside funds every year for modernization. Our new owners want to expand, so you will have great opportunities to influence how things develop going forward. Your main responsibilities Lead and prioritize: Personnel responsibility for 3 facilities technicians. You have brief check-ins every day and a larger meeting once a week. Project management: Plan, lead, and drive projects related to modernization, investments, and renovations. Operation & Maintenance: Ensure that technical systems function safely. You serve as the contact point for contractors, suppliers, and authorities. Who are you? To succeed in this role, you are someone who can make quick decisions and understands what needs to be prioritized in a dynamic environment. As a person, you are organized in your own work, but you don't require everything around you to be nailed down and structured from the start. Requirements and preferences: Technical background, preferably with an electrical background. Experience with property management or maintenance in an industrial/production environment. Familiar with project management and budget responsibility. Good communication skills as the role involves many contact points.
