About the Position As plant manager at Jonsson & Söner, you will have a central role in the operation where you work closely with both production and business. The role reports to the Finnish operation and is part of the management team, which provides good insight and opportunities to influence future development. The assignment is broad and combines strategic responsibility with operational leadership. You are responsible for plant operations and lead through your production manager, who in turn supervises approximately 35 employees. The focus is on developing production, strengthening delivery accuracy and quality, and ensuring efficient and sustainable operations. In the long term, there are opportunities to further develop processes, working methods, and the plant's capacity. Duties The role involves varied work where you combine leadership, development, and operational management of the business. You will, among other things: lead and develop plant operations and the manufacturing organization ensure delivery accuracy, product quality, and efficiency drive improvement work within processes, management, and working methods develop and implement manufacturing strategies take responsibility for logistics and inventory management work with work environment, safety, and compliance with requirements and regulations plan and carry out plant investments follow up on results and ensure that the operation achieves set goals collaborate with internal functions and management The role also involves contributing to structure, development, and a long-term sustainable production operation. Qualifications Jonsson & Söner is seeking a person who thrives in a broad role and has the ability to combine leadership with business understanding. To succeed in the role, the company looks for someone with: education in industrial economics, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or equivalent documented experience working in a leading position within the manufacturing industry Further, you have work experience in: leading plant operations and manufacturing organization developing and implementing manufacturing strategies work with delivery accuracy and product quality improvement work and change management logistics and inventory management work environment and safety work within industry You have strong communication skills and express yourself well in both Swedish and English.
