About Us Hotel Riviera Strand is the family's favorite hotel, located right by the beach in the summer paradise of Båstad. Here there is beach life and full activity both indoors and outdoors, from morning to evening. The hotel has 144 apartment suites, 11 conference rooms and a restaurant with capacity for just over 300 guests. Hotel Riviera Strand is part of GRAM Group which, together with Hotel Skansen, Torekov Hotell and the restaurants Pepe's Bodega, Papas and Mamas Italian, comprises three distinctive hotels and several restaurants at an exceptional destination in Båstad & on the Bjäre Peninsula. About the Position Reception is the heart of the hotel and here you will find yourself at the center of the action. You will work in a cheerful team with high ambitions where collaboration and communication are important. This position is a temporary hire based on need, with varying work hours that primarily include evening and weekend work. A positive attitude and flexibility are therefore essential. At reception, you are an important part of the guest's overall experience, from the first hello to the last impression. You see what needs to be done, take your own initiative and act proactively to create a safe, professional and welcoming stay for our guests. About You We want you as an applicant to have a genuine feeling for service and a burning interest in hospitality. Your Main Responsibilities Greet and check in/out guests Answer questions via phone and email Provide service and information about the hotel and surrounding area Collaborate with other departments to ensure a good overall experience for the guest Ensure that the lobby and reception are welcoming and in order Conference host/hostess with dishware, furniture arrangements, etc. Required Competencies: 18 years old Cash register experience Service experience Previous experience in a service profession Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing Important Personal Qualities: Responsible Service-minded Engaged and curious Team player Solution-oriented and flexible Willing to develop and contribute to us becoming better together We Offer We offer a unique environment at an established seaside destination, together with a dedicated and professional team.
