We are now looking for a junior IT service technician for our client. Here you will have the opportunity to become part of a team and work practically with service, troubleshooting, and repair of PCs and other technical equipment. You will primarily work on-site with business customers performing simple repairs and servicing of laptops. The work day typically starts with a morning meeting where the day's schedule and tasks are reviewed. After that, you contact your customers, plan your visits, and travel out to perform the repairs. The role involves working largely independently in the field and moving between different customers throughout the day. This gives you the opportunity to develop both your technical skills and your ability to provide professional service. As a junior IT service technician, you will, among other things: Travel to business customers and perform simple repairs and servicing of laptops Replace components, cables, and other minor parts Troubleshoot and identify technical problems Contact customers before visits and provide professional service on-site Manage spare parts and pick up and return parts at the office Contact support when needed for further troubleshooting or instructions Perform simple installations and assembly of technical equipment About the Position This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant for the client. You will work approximately 4–5 days per month, but the scope may vary depending on the client's needs. The assignment starts as soon as possible. The position is based in Vänersborg, but you will travel to customers in the Vänersborg area. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for you who: Are a student and have the opportunity to work approximately 4–5 days per month, with the possibility of more work shifts if needed Can accept work shifts on short notice Have a genuine interest in IT and technology Have good knowledge of Swedish and English Have a B-class driver's license It is an advantage if you have previous experience with IT technology, service, or similar work. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and handy. You enjoy working independently and take responsibility for completing your tasks. Since you often work on-site with customers, it is important that you are service-minded, professional, and confident in your interactions with others. When you encounter a technical problem, you are curious and approach it in a structured way. You try to find a solution yourself, are willing to experiment, and know when it's time to ask for help.
