WORK TASKS In the role of warehouse and production worker, you will work with handling and processing flowers and plants for delivery to stores. Your tasks will vary depending on season and needs, but may include: Handling cut flowers and green plants Picking and packing customer orders Sorting and quality control Watering, care and preparation of plants Restocking and packaging Warehouse and logistics work Other common production and warehouse tasks PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a natural sense for color, form and detail. You are thorough, responsible and enjoy creating results that maintain high quality. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well with others while also being able to work independently when needed. We believe you: Are a student or have another primary occupation of at least 50% Have the ability to work 2–3 days per week Are flexible and can step in with short notice during peak season Have good manual skills and fine motor control Enjoy working with flowers, plants or other products where careful handling is important Are thorough, efficient and quality-conscious Previous experience from warehouse, production, retail, or floristry is a merit ABOUT THE POSITION This is a part-time consultant assignment.
