We are now continuously accepting applications for all our facilities for the following roles: pool attendant, restaurant assistant, and fitness instructor. Our Facilities Navet is Umeå's largest swimming hall and experience pool in the city center. During summer, we also operate the heated outdoor pool Umelagun, located near Nydalabadet beach. Obbolabadet is located in Obbola, approximately 17 km outside of Umeå. Read more about Obbolabadet here. Sävar swimming hall is located in Sävar, approximately 19 km outside of Umeå. Hemgården pool and gym is centrally located in western Umeå. The facility serves seniors and is temporarily closed for renovations but will reopen in January 2027. Read more about Hemgården here. Work as a Pool Attendant In the role of pool attendant, you will primarily work on our most important mission: ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our visitors. Your duties include pool supervision, facility cleaning, and reception work. At reception, you are the face of our facility for visitors, answer phones, sell memberships, admission tickets, and merchandise from our shop. Work as a Restaurant Assistant At our larger facilities, we operate our own restaurant concept RE:AL. Here we prepare and serve light meals, coffee/snacks, and beverages. As a restaurant assistant, you play an important role in ensuring proper food safety procedures. You prepare food, clean, and work the cash register. Work as a Fitness Instructor In the role of fitness/group training instructor, you lead, inspire, and instruct our members in a pedagogical and safe manner. You stay updated with new training methods and continuously strive to develop as an instructor. At our facilities, we offer various programs including Aqua classes, Yoga, LesMills concepts, and HIIT/circuit training. About You Common to these positions is that we are looking for someone who is stress-resilient, adaptable, and can remain calm in unexpected situations, as our pace is often high. You are confident working independently as well as in a team and have good collaboration skills. You are also service-oriented and always strive to create the best possible experience for our visitors. For all positions, you must have excellent knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic knowledge of English. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements - Pool Attendant 18 years of age or older, as the position involves security responsibility Experience from the service industry Cash register experience Valid swimming certificate Clean criminal background clearance certificate Requirements - Restaurant Assistant Experience from the service industry, preferably in quick-service restaurants Cash register experience Clean criminal background clearance certificate Requirements - Fitness Instructor 18 years of age or older, as the position involves security responsibility Previous experience leading group training classes is preferred but not required—we will ensure you receive the right training! Clean criminal background clearance certificate Employment Information The position is intermittent (hourly/on-call employment as needed), which means you work according to the facility's needs without a fixed employment percentage.
