Your tasks The Prosecutor's Office is looking for someone who wants to play a central role in combating crime. As a prosecutor, you will apply legal knowledge in theory and practice with considerable independent responsibility and in collaboration with others. As a deputy prosecutor, you will work on all aspects of criminal cases in a general prosecutor's office. You will lead preliminary investigations, make decisions on prosecution, and conduct proceedings in court. Your qualities and qualifications We are looking for someone who has Swedish citizenship a Nordic law degree notarial certification from a district or administrative court experience working as a court of appeal prosecutor or court of appeal assessor. As a person, we want you to have a strong interest in criminal and procedural law be legally skilled have the ability to collaborate and lead others be driven, able to organize and prioritize your work, and make independent decisions be stable and have good judgment have good analytical skills and ability to think critically have good communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The selection process The position as deputy prosecutor is a qualifying appointment for six months. Before making an employment offer, the Prosecutor's Office may conduct a check in the suspicion register and criminal record register. The check is performed on the final candidate. Tests may be used in the recruitment process. The Prosecutor's Office is a civil protection agency. Upon employment, you may be assigned to civil protection duty at the Prosecutor's Office.
