At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of our time's major societal issues – migration. We are approximately 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job! The Agency conducts extensive development work including civil defense and coordination within migration and asylum, with assignments from both the government and the EU. The Migration Agency's Security Department is part of the head office and has overall responsibility for security and preparedness in the agency. At the Security Department, experts work with information security, physical security, personnel security, crisis preparedness and civil defense, internal investigations, employee protection and other security matters across the entire spectrum from operational security to security protection. The department is led by our Security Director, who also sits in the agency's management. The Security Department is in an expansive phase, and we are now seeking you to help strengthen our work within security protection and focus on security-protected procurement. As an expert in the field, you will be placed at the Security Unit, where we are responsible for the agency's security protection as well as operational security, and where experts in physical security, information security and security protection are gathered. Operations are affected by complex threat scenarios and supported by technical systems with high requirements for security and availability. We would be pleased if you have broad security experience in both operational security and security protection. As an expert focused on security-protected procurement in the context of protected assets, you will work closely with our security protection experts and case handlers, as well as in close collaboration with the procurement and purchasing unit and responsible managers in the operations. You will participate in further development of the area, and in this position you will combine work on development, governance and follow-up with support to operations. The work requires you to be structured, self-directed and have the will and ability to take your own initiatives. Your ability to interpret, evaluate and handle complex and protected information is critical in choosing measures and priorities. To succeed in the role, you have excellent collaboration skills and are driven to achieve the right impact in operations. You also have well-developed pedagogical skills, which will help you reach out into the organization and create understanding for security protection as well as operational security at different levels in the organization. Since the position is classified in a security class, it requires that you are a Swedish citizen. We are seeking someone who has: - academic education or relevant work experience for the position in combination with formal education in the security field - several years of experience working with security protection, preferably with a connection to procurement including follow-up and control at an agency or large organization - very good knowledge of security protection legislation as well as regulations, instructions and standards in the field - experience following up and developing processes in an agency and/or larger organization - very good ability to express yourself in good Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is a merit if you: - have experience with and understanding of corporate law, corporate structures and risk management related to this - have experience working within other relevant security areas, such as information security - have experience leading projects Information Employment form: Permanent with initial probationary period Working hours: Flexible hours Placement: Norrköping or Stockholm Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement Employment benefits: Read about our employment benefits here.
