Main responsibilities:
Conduct health and functional assessments and analysis for children with functional disorders, individuals with mental health conditions, and long-term care clients (hereinafter - clients);
Determine clients' functional abilities and opportunities for improvement or maintenance;
Develop and implement client-centered occupational therapy treatment plans to enhance physical and cognitive abilities;
Assist in improving specific physical functions through specialized exercises;
Prepare occupational therapist conclusions/reports on client functional abilities and/or physical assessment results.
Job Description:
Permanent position starting September 1, 2026;
Work schedule: Part-time 0.5 FTE;
Work location: Ķekavas novada veselības un sociālās aprūpes centrs, Gaismas Street 19, apt. 8, Ķekava;
Salary: from 650.00 to 899.00 EUR (gross, before employee tax deduction) for part-time work;
Health insurance after probation period completion.
Requirements for candidates:
Higher education;
Registration in the healthcare professionals register;
At least one year of experience as an occupational therapist in Latvia;
Understanding of social care work organization;
State language proficiency in accordance with the State Language Law;
Ability to work both in a team and independently within professional competencies;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Ability to communicate respectfully with individuals who have perception and communication difficulties.
