RESPONSIBILITIES
As an urban planner, you will drive your own detailed planning projects and participate in project groups. With us, you will work on varied and socially important projects ranging from major infrastructure to residential development in central Lerum and other towns in the municipality. The role can be partly shaped based on your experience, specialized expertise, and interests.
You will be part of the planning unit where we work closely together and in collaboration with other departments in the municipality. Here you will contribute to developing Lerum's future through sustainable and implementable urban planning.

The position includes:
• Independently drive detailed plans and planning programs
• Project manage detailed planning projects with responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and progress
• Develop planning documents, planning maps, sketches, studies, and reports
• Coordinate studies and materials within areas such as design, architecture, technology, and sustainability
• Manage documentation, filing, procurement, and finances in your own projects
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and lead consultations and provide advice on planning matters
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with:
• Master's degree in physical planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or equivalent education
• At least seven years of experience in physical planning and preparing detailed plans in a municipality or as a consultant
• Good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBL), the Environmental Code, and the planning process
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech, writing, and visual communication
• Good knowledge of Office, CAD, and GIS programs as well as experience with digital project tools
It is advantageous if you have:
• Experience from a politically governed organization
• Experience driving detailed plans through the entire process to legal force
• Experience in project management within urban development
• Knowledge of GEOSECMA Physical Planning and/or Antura
• Specialist knowledge in areas such as architecture and design, landscape architecture, cultural heritage, exploitation, Environmental Code, environmental impact assessment, or planning of municipal services and operational land

• Can manage multiple planning processes in parallel and prioritize efficiently
• Has good collaboration skills and a holistic perspective
• Has good understanding of urban development, the planning process, and feasibility
• Has interest in planning law and following developments in the field
• Is engaged, communicative, and responsive and contributes to a good collaborative climate, cohesion, and job satisfaction
