About the Position In the Intensive Care Unit, we receive patients of all ages (including very young children) from the hospital's various clinics and acute patients who require intensive care. Our largest patient categories are those with severe infections and those undergoing various surgical procedures, such as transplant surgery. With us, you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills in highly specialized intensive care while working with some of the country's most experienced colleagues. Our department receives patients with complex care needs, which means you will have an educational, varied, and meaningful day-to-day experience. We work in multidisciplinary teams around the patient with well-developed teamwork between doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. Since we are a unit at a university hospital, we have new colleagues undergoing training, future colleagues in education, and conduct research aimed at improving and developing care. You will come into contact with a highly varied patient population whose length of stay can range from a few hours to several weeks. This means that both your tasks and work pace are very varied, giving you in-depth and broad competence in several areas. We Are Looking for You - You are a positive and engaged person with good collaboration skills, take responsibility, and can work both in a team and independently - You have the ability to see the bigger picture; in your role as a nursing assistant, you will collaborate with doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists - You can reprioritize your day at short notice when something urgent arises, as our pace is often high Qualifications Requirements: - Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants or employer certificate proving you held a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) of the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). If you apply with an employer certificate, you must also submit your nursing assistant diploma. - Experience working as a nursing assistant in acute care - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious: - Experience in intensive care - Qualified specialist nursing assistant in Intensive Care About the Recruitment Process For your application to be assessed as complete, it must include proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or an employer certificate proving you held a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.
