The Property Office manages and develops a unique property portfolio that is important for Stockholm's residents, businesses and visitors. The property portfolio consists of everything from well-known Stockholm buildings to public facilities for culture and sports, office buildings, fire stations, market halls, castles, farms and cottages. We also manage nature and outdoor areas outside the city limits. We are located in the Technical Administrative Building at Fleminggatan 4, approximately a 5-minute walk from Central Station. Now we're looking for two experienced building systems managers who want to work with varied and exciting assignments – from simpler properties to complex buildings – for the benefit of Stockholm's residents. In this role, you work long-term from a holistic perspective with a focus on technical upgrades, robust solutions and sustainable development. Your Role As a building systems manager, you get overall responsibility for a property portfolio that is matched to your interests, your competence and experience. You work long-term from a holistic perspective to develop and future-proof buildings, technical systems and infrastructure. Together with property managers, operations personnel and technical specialists, you drive technical improvements that make a real difference. Many of our buildings are technically advanced, giving you the opportunity to deepen your expertise and contribute to sustainable, robust and well-functioning properties. Your main areas of responsibility: • establish and monitor the short- and long-term maintenance and investment plans for your assigned properties • be project owner and internal buyer towards the project department and be supportive/demanding in projects • be responsible for status inventories and other consultant investigations • be responsible for official inspections and subsequent measures with support from the office's technical specialists • lead meetings with property managers and the operations unit for your assigned properties • implement and work to achieve the sustainability and quality goals that exist within the management • be driving in our goal to reduce energy consumption. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for you who have • post-secondary education from a college, university or professional university with relevant focus, or many years and extensive experience from the industry • many years of relevant and current professional experience in qualified building systems management • experience working with technical management of larger facilities, preferably of a more complex nature • broad technical competence and knowledge with a holistic perspective for technical systems and life cycle costs • good administrative skills and proficiency in various Office suite programs • good ability to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
