As a train traffic controller at Trafikverket, you help facilitate daily life for residents and businesses throughout Sweden. You do this by contributing to the infrastructure of the future. Job Responsibilities This is an opportunity for you who are trained as a train traffic controller (regional) and want a permanent position at the traffic control center in Ånge. As a regional train traffic controller, you oversee Trafikverket's railways and direct long-distance trains, freight trains, and commuter trains from one of Trafikverket's traffic control centers, always with safety as the focus. Most of your working time involves independent work where you monitor railway traffic across multiple digital screens. At the traffic control center, you are never alone but have train traffic controller colleagues nearby who monitor their areas and traffic information officers who ensure information reaches train passengers. The railway operates 24/7 throughout the year, so you work as a train traffic controller in shifts during all hours of the day and all days of the year according to a fixed schedule. Qualifications We are looking for you who have completed the admission process and finished Trafikverket's training as a regional train traffic controller with approved results have completed your trainee service with approved results and have current experience working as a regional train traffic controller, with good references from your previous employment at Trafikverket.
