About the position
The Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (BIMA) is a highly specialized care unit within the Pediatric-PMI function and part of the Pediatric Intensive Care Sector. We care for critically ill children of all ages following treatment in intensive care, surgery, ward, or emergency department. Our patients have threatened or manifest, potentially reversible, failure in vital functions but do not require intensive care resources.
We have a well-established collaboration with long-term intensive care (LIVA) where there is extensive experience with children with airway problems and often a need for tracheostomy.
As a nurse with us, you will work in an interprofessional team where everyone is responsible for providing our patients with the best care. Together we create a safe and secure environment for the child and their family.
With us, it is a matter of course that we find joy in our work and have fun together.
