About the Position In the role of robot programmer, you will be an important part of the development organization and work closely with colleagues in automation, mechanical design, electrical engineering and production. You are involved throughout the entire project cycle, from concept development and programming to testing, commissioning and delivery to the customer. Your main responsibilities include: Programming ABB robots in RAPID Development of robot programs from scratch Offline programming and simulation in RobotStudio Commissioning and startup at customer sites Collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal technical teams Travel may occur to a limited extent in connection with commissioning, etc. Your Profile To succeed in this role, you need to have: At least 3–5 years of experience in ABB robot programming in RAPID Experience building robot programs from scratch, not just adjusting existing code Good knowledge of RobotStudio Experience with commissioning and startup Good understanding of automation cells and peripheral equipment Ability to read electrical and automation diagrams Driver's license category B Good knowledge of Swedish and/or English Meritorious Experience: PLC programming, for example Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff or Allen-Bradley Integration between robot and PLC Vision systems and ABB SafeMove Optics or electrical design Work at a systems integrator or in project-based delivery organizations Process optimization and cycle time reduction As a person, you are self-driven and responsible while being solution-oriented and enjoying collaboration with others to achieve your and the company's goals.
