Typical responsibilities in the role
· Responsibility for your own clients
· Prepare annual reports and income tax returns
· Income tax return 1
Your areas of expertise
· Ongoing bookkeeping
· Accounts receivable and payable
· Reconciliations
· VAT and tax returns
· Financial statements and annual reports
· Independent handling of complete financial statements and annual reports for limited companies
· Tax returns
· Liquidity planning
· Monthly reporting
· Taxes: Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, and payroll taxes
· Advisory: Ability to function as a proactive advisor to clients, including analysis of financial reports and proactive engagement
· Quality assurance: Experience reviewing others' work and using it in the context of annual reports
· Train or mentor colleagues as needed
· Advisory on taxes and financial management as needed
Your education and experience
· At least three years of experience in qualified accounting, preferably as an accounting consultant at a firm
· Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards, and bookkeeping systems
· Post-secondary education in accounting/finance (YH or university)
· System knowledge: Very strong skills in the following accounting systems: Fortnox, BL, and Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
