Your new position
You will work with installation and replacement of distribution systems for district heating and district cooling in all phases, with emphasis on design and construction. This includes, among other things, site visits, consultation handling, pipe construction, strength calculations and coordination. This means varied days with both office work, some field work and meetings with clients and contractors. In your work, you will lead yourself and others in a project manager role in projects with varying complexity, depending on your previous experience.

At our head office in Västerås, approximately 60 people work in various parts of the energy industry. In addition to the distribution department, we have energy consultants within production, industry and electricity & automation.
Your profile
Are you an experienced project engineer or designer within district heating, district cooling or water supply and sanitation who wants to take the next step in a technically oriented and socially important role? At FVB you get to use your expertise in varied assignments, close to both colleagues, clients and other stakeholders. We believe you will thrive when you can combine independent responsibility with good collaboration, practical solutions and the opportunity to contribute to both project results and team development. You are curious, technically interested and solution-oriented, and have the ability to drive multiple projects in parallel with structure and commitment.
We would like you to have a civil or university engineering degree, or alternatively other relevant education or work experience that we deem equivalent.
You express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing and have good knowledge of English. Because travel occurs in the position, a B driver's license is a requirement.
Employment form and recruitment process
The position is a permanent full-time employment. The aim is to fill the position during autumn 2026. Location Västerås. Occupational psychological tests and background checks will be relevant in the selection process.
