Experienced Project Manager for Aerospace and Defense Industry

About the Role As a project manager, you will be part of an organization that develops future aviation technology solutions. You will lead major and mission-critical projects within an area responsible for the development of, among other things, control systems, flight mechanics, aerodynamics, and integration of software and hardware for both existing and future aircraft systems. You will be part of an experienced project management office where you function as a central coordination function between multiple technical disciplines and business areas. The role is characterized by significant responsibility and requires that you can create alignment between different stakeholders while driving the project forward toward established goals. Projects are characterized by high technical complexity, many contact points, and long-term horizons, which makes this an exciting opportunity for you who want to combine project management with a good technical understanding. A particular focus in the role is technical integration and coordination of deliverables between different parts of the organization. You will work broadly across the business to ensure that dependencies are managed, that different teams work toward common goals, and that project deliverables occur as planned. Responsibilities: Lead and drive complex technical projects from initiation to completion Own project deliverables regarding scope, schedule, and budget Coordinate technical deliverables between different departments, teams, and stakeholders Ensure progress and manage dependencies in projects with many involved parties Facilitate project meetings, steering committee meetings, and milestone reviews Handle risks, changes, and prioritizations during the project Monitor resources, costs, and project status in the organization's tools Contribute to alignment and collaboration between different parts of the organization Work with technical integration and coordination of major development and delivery projects Your Profile To thrive in this role, we believe that you are a confident and humble leader who is motivated by getting people and organizations to work toward common goals. Requirements for the Position: Several years of experience in project management with responsibility for project scope, schedule, and budget Experience leading complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies, as well as coordination between different functions, teams, or business areas Good technical understanding and experience from technical development environments Civil engineering or engineering degree, or equivalent relevant work experience Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written B-class driver's license The assignment is placed in security classification. Prior to employment, you are required to undergo a security clearance and be approved according to applicable security regulations. This may require certain citizenship.
