WORK TASKS
The project manager assignment is focused on machinery and process installations in, for example, treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines for both wastewater and drinking water management. Projects in other areas may also occur.
The assignment involves independently leading and driving projects. This includes investigation and design as well as implementation, but also planning the execution regarding time, resources, permits and finances.
You will work in a team with different competencies and experiences, where we see it as a strength to grow by learning from each other. You report to the department manager and work closely with group managers, operational managers and operations technicians to ensure efficient and stable operation of our wastewater treatment and drinking water plants.
QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive with the assignment and be the right person for us, high service orientation and commitment are important. You must also have a solution-oriented approach and be development-oriented, that is, interested in developing both yourself and the business as well as interested in learning new things.
To be eligible for employment, you must have an engineering degree in mechanical, civil, facilities, environmental, infrastructure or other education that the employer deems equivalent. If you also have education in contract law, construction site safety or public procurement, this is advantageous.
Experience in managing facility projects and experience with machinery installations in water and wastewater is also necessary. If you also have experience in project management, design management, construction management or contractor inspection, this is a bonus. If you have experience in implementing projects through collaboration/partnering, this is a major plus.
Given the nature of the work tasks, you need to be able to speak, read and write fluent Swedish and have good speaking, reading and writing skills in English.
