As a process technician at DAVA Foods, you will play a central role in ensuring stable, safe, and efficient operation of our production. You will work in a technically advanced environment with a strong focus on process equipment and future food solutions.
Responsibilities
As a process technician, you have overall responsibility for ensuring high availability and operational reliability in our production environment. The role is broad and includes both operational work and improvement-driven initiatives.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of machinery and process equipment
- Identify and address technical risks before they impact production
- Work systematically in our digital maintenance system
- Ensure that all equipment is always documented, up-to-date, and in optimal condition
- Identify and drive efficiency improvements and technical enhancements to equipment
- Coordinate maintenance activities closely with production and operators
- Troubleshoot, analyze root causes, and implement long-term solutions
- Support installation, startup, and improvement of process equipment
- Be an active part of our technical development in production
The work is independent but conducted in close collaboration with other functions. You will start your day with planned maintenance but also need to quickly reprioritize when urgent interventions are needed.
Depending on your own interests and strengths, the role is partly flexible.
The position is full-time with placement in Skara.
Working hours can be discussed based on day, evening, or shift work.
Profile
We are looking for you as an experienced and independent technician with a good understanding of industrial production and processes.
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- Have several years of experience as a technician in industry, preferably in process or food industry
- Have good technical knowledge in areas such as pumps, valves, pipe systems, and process equipment
- Are experienced in troubleshooting and have an analytical approach to work
- Have experience with documentation in maintenance systems
- Work systematically and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish
- Are accustomed to thinking in terms of processes, flows, and long-term operational reliability
- Master Swedish and English in speech and writing
