Experienced Large Format Tile Setter Sought for Tromsø, Norway We are seeking a highly experienced and independent tile setter for a project in Tromsø. The work involves primarily the installation of large and thin ceramic tiles. We are therefore looking for a specialist with documented experience in large format tiles. This is not a position for a tile setter who has only worked with standard tile and clinker formats. You must have practical experience installing large tiles and ceramic slabs with high demands for handling, precision, and finishing. Job Responsibilities You will work with, among other things: installation of large format tiles on walls and floors tiles in the format 120 × 120 cm ceramic tiles or slabs in the format 120 × 240 cm or larger thin large format tiles approximately 6 mm thick measuring, planning, fitting, and cutting safe transport, lifting, and handling of large tiles control and preparation of substrates application of adhesive with correct and full coverage precise installation, grouting, and finishing independent quality control of completed work Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must: have at least five years of documented experience with large format tiles have practical experience with the format 120 × 240 cm or larger have experience with thin tiles approximately 6 mm thick be able to handle, lift, cut, and install large tiles safely be able to work independently and plan your workday be thorough, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented be able to document relevant experience through CV, references, or photos from previous projects General tile setting experience without documented large format experience is not sufficient for this position.
