Would you like to take a central role in a skilled team where technology, sustainability, and collaboration are in focus? At Förvaltaren, you get a broad role with great opportunity to make an impact. Here, you don't just manage operations—you see the bigger picture, understand the consequences, and help develop the property portfolio. About the Role You will become part of the Technology and Energy unit, which consists of 11 employees, reporting to the unit manager. Unlike many other property companies, we have chosen not to separate expertise into different departments. This means you get to work closely with and learn from colleagues in areas such as controls and regulations, technical management, environment, water damage, and energy. The goal is to help each other across boundaries, while each person has a clear area of responsibility. Responsibilities The role of facilities technician is very much about preventive work and long-term thinking. In your daily work, you independently monitor and optimize our systems in consultation with nearby colleagues, handle trouble reports, identify root causes in systems, and anticipate the effects of various measures to proactively prevent operational disruptions. Examples of tasks: - Supervision, maintenance, and corrective repairs of all heating, ventilation, and cooling systems with associated control systems. - Ensure correct operating hours and that temperatures comply with legal requirements and contracts. - Participate in providing documentation for budget work on maintenance planning. - Analyze and provide improvement suggestions when reviewing energy consumption. - Assist in regulatory inspections and work on ventilation measures. - Perform systematic fire safety work. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with seniority who takes natural leadership responsibility in daily work. We see that you ideally have a background as both a facilities technician and operations technician. To qualify for this role, you have: - Facilities technician training or equivalent knowledge acquired through other means. - A few years of experience in a similar position. - Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. - Good administrative skills and experience with Office 365 (Excel, Outlook). - Good knowledge of control and regulation systems. - Driver's license (category B). Desirable - Competence or background in electrical work or plumbing. Personal Qualities As a person, you are self-driven, have a structured way of working, and a good ability to prioritize when the pace is high. You also understand the importance of careful documentation and follow-up. To succeed in this role, you have strong technical knowledge, take initiative, and have an eye for what needs to be done. You are a calm and stable person who stays composed in stressful situations. Since the role involves many contact points, you have excellent social and communication skills and handle any conflicts constructively. Do you recognize yourself in the values "we like people, we listen with curiosity and dare to challenge, and we do things we can stand for"? Then Förvaltaren is the right place for you. What We Offer For us, it's important to be able to combine career with a personal life where there is room for your priorities. We therefore offer a flexible working day, good benefits, and an appreciated reduction in working hours during the summer half of the year. At Förvaltaren, you become part of a work community with sound values and a diversity of employees who together create attractive and safe residential areas where people enjoy living and feel good.
