Experienced Payroll Specialist | Lernia | Gävle

Our client in Gävle is now seeking a self-driven and experienced Payroll Specialist. You will be part of the HR department but be solely responsible for payroll work, which means you will have a key role in the organization with significant individual responsibility. In this role, you are responsible for the entire payroll process and ensure that salaries are handled correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable laws, agreements, and procedures. You will also work closely with the organization's managers and provide support on payroll-related matters. This is a direct recruitment where you will be employed by our client. About the Position Your main responsibilities: Manage the entire payroll process from start to finish Handle payroll for both salaried employees and collectively employed staff Ensure correct reporting to authorities and other external parties Administer and report payroll for multiple different companies Interpret and apply laws, collective agreements, and internal guidelines Provide support to managers and employees on payroll and employment-related matters Participate in developing and improving payroll routines and processes About You Formal Qualifications We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist with strong drive and the ability to work independently. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Education in payroll or equivalent competence At least five years of experience in qualified payroll work Experience from both larger and smaller organizations Solid knowledge of the entire payroll process for both salaried employees and collectively employed staff Good system knowledge and experience working with different payroll systems Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is self-driven, thorough, and structured with a strong sense of responsibility and quality.
