About AniCura Western Animal Hospital At AniCura Western Animal Hospital in Gothenburg, our heroes work every day to provide animals with high-quality care and save lives. Since our founding in 2007, we have built a strong, dedicated team with a shared vision: to together shape the future of veterinary medicine. We are an established and personal animal hospital with many years of combined expertise under one roof. Our operations are staffed 24/7, with reception hours between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. Here you'll encounter a varied patient flow with both emergency cases and referrals, and we offer specialist clinics in areas such as ophthalmology, dermatology, dentistry, diabetes, gastroenterology, cardiology, feline medicine, and equine medicine. Our ward is separated for dogs and cats and includes an intensive care unit (ICU). At our modern surgical department, we perform most types of procedures in both soft tissue surgery and orthopedics. The animal hospital is also equipped with CT scanning, digital radiography, and several ultrasound units for both abdominal and cardiac examinations. About the Role As an experienced veterinarian, you'll become an important part of our clinical team. You'll: Work with a varied patient group and independently take responsibility for examination and treatment based on your experience and expertise. Encounter both common and more complex cases in a stimulating clinical environment. Collaborate closely with dedicated colleagues in various areas of expertise and benefit from the broad knowledge available in the team. Contribute your experience and help develop both work methods and clinical operations. Have the opportunity to specialize in areas that interest you and further develop your expertise alongside colleagues. Influence your work situation and assignment based on your experience, interests, and the organization's needs. Evening and weekend work occurs according to schedule, as operations are staffed based on patient flow and the need for good availability for our patients. Who We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: A licensed veterinarian with several years of clinical experience and confidence in veterinary medical work.
