Job Description The recruitment is conducted in collaboration with NearYou, who is responsible for the selection. The position is a permanent employment with Momec AB with daytime work. Momec AB is in a strong growth phase and is now seeking an experienced edge press operator who wants to take greater responsibility in the company's continued development. We are looking for someone with solid experience in edge pressing who wants to combine practical production work with overall responsibility for developing the edge press department. The role suits you if you are confident in your professional skills, enjoy taking initiative, and want to influence work methods, quality, and efficiency. As an edge press operator responsible for the department, you will work on manufacturing specially adapted products in small series as well as contract-manufactured sheet metal components. You are responsible for the entire process from drawings and programming to the finished product, with a focus on high quality, precision, and efficient work methods. You will become an important part of production and have the opportunity to influence how the edge press department develops. The role suits you if you want to take the next step and combine your technical expertise with greater responsibility. The role includes: *Programming, setting up, and operating edge press machines *Edge pressing of thin sheet metal components with high demands for accuracy and quality *Interpreting drawings and technical documentation *Development of prototypes and customized products *Planning and development of work methods within the edge press department *Ensuring quality and efficiency in daily production *Supporting colleagues and contributing to the development of department work methods Qualifications We are looking for someone who: • Has solid and documented experience with edge pressing in thin sheet metal. • Has good knowledge of programming, setting up, and operating various machines. • Has strong ability to interpret and follow drawings carefully • Has strong technical interest, is curious, and enjoys taking on challenges. • Speaks Swedish well and is skilled at communicating with others • Experience with Monitor software is a merit Merits: *Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supporting colleagues *Experience with improvement work in manufacturing industry *Experience with Monitor or similar business systems Does this sound interesting?
