Job Description The recruitment is conducted in collaboration with NearYou, which is responsible for the selection process. This position is a direct employment with Momec AB with daytime work. Momec AB is in a strong growth phase and is now seeking an experienced edge press operator who wants to take greater responsibility and contribute to the company's continued development. We are looking for someone with solid experience in edge pressing who wants to combine your practical production work with overall responsibility for the edge press department's development. The role suits you if you are confident in your professional skills, enjoy taking initiative, and want to influence work methods, quality, and efficiency. As an edge press operator responsible for the department, you will work on manufacturing specially customized products in small series as well as contract-manufactured sheet metal parts. You are responsible for the entire process from drawings and programming to finished product, with a focus on high quality, precision, and efficient work methods. You will be an important part of production and have the opportunity to influence how the edge press department develops. The role suits you if you want to take the next step and combine your technical expertise with greater responsibility. The role includes, among other things: *Programming, setup, and operation of edge press machines *Edge pressing of sheet metal parts with high demands for accuracy and quality *Interpretation of drawings and technical documentation *Development of prototypes and customized products *Planning and development of work methods within the edge press department *Ensuring quality and efficiency in daily production *Supporting colleagues and contributing to the development of the department's work methods Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • Solid and documented experience in edge pressing of thin sheet metal. • Good knowledge of programming, setting up, and operating various machines. • Good ability to interpret and follow drawings carefully • Strong technical interest, curiosity, and willingness to take on challenges. • Strong command of the Swedish language and excellent communication skills with others • Experience working in Monitor is a merit Merits: *Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supporting colleagues *Experience with improvement work in manufacturing industry *Experience with Monitor or similar business systems Does this sound interesting?
