On behalf of our client, Sibe Construction is seeking an experienced estimator in earthwork and construction for an well-established and family-oriented construction company just south of Gothenburg. About the Role This is a broad and production-focused role where you'll have a central and important function in the business. You will independently drive the bidding process from start to finish and work closely with both production, management, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your main responsibilities will include: Preparing bids and estimates for earthwork and construction projects Procurement and hiring of subcontractors and suppliers Organizing and administering bid and quotation workflows Contract management and agreement matters Participating in project planning and follow-up Providing support to production on financial and technical matters The projects range from smaller contracts to larger and more complex construction projects, which creates a varied and developmental workday. We're Looking for You If You Have several years of experience in estimating work within earthwork and construction. Have good knowledge of construction law and procurement, as well as AMA, MER, and RA Construction. Have experience from construction production and understand the operations on the projects. Are comfortable working in estimating software, such as BidCon. Are comfortable working in the Office suite and have particularly strong Excel skills, as a large part of the estimating work and follow-up happens there. Speak and write Swedish fluently. It is advantageous if you also have experience in finance, contract management, and scheduling, as well as a technical education in construction, earthwork, or building.
