On behalf of our client, Sibe Construction is seeking an experienced estimator in civil and construction for a well-established and family-oriented construction company just south of Gothenburg. About the Role This is a broad and production-focused role where you will have a central and important function in the business. You will independently drive the bidding process from start to finish and work closely with both production, management, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your main responsibilities include: Preparing bids and estimates for civil and construction projects Procurement and contracting of subcontractors and suppliers Organizing and administering bid and quotation flows Contract management and agreement matters Participation in project planning and follow-up Support to production on economic and technical matters Projects vary from smaller contracts to larger and more complex construction projects, creating a varied and developmental work environment. What We're Looking For You have several years of experience with estimating work in civil and construction. You have strong knowledge of construction and procurement law as well as AMA, MER, and RA Anläggning. You have experience from construction production and understand the operations on job sites. You are accustomed to working in estimation software, such as BidCon. You are comfortable working in the Office suite and have particularly strong Excel skills, as much of the estimating work and follow-up takes place there. You speak and write Swedish fluently. It is an advantage if you also have experience in accounting, contract management, and scheduling, as well as technical training in building, civil, or construction.
