About the Unit The Regulatory Legal Unit is part of the Regulation Department. Together, we provide comprehensive legal support for the entire organization, which includes general administrative law, public access and confidentiality, data protection, digitalization and IT law, procurement, contracts and agreements, and damages. A large part of our work focuses on regulatory law, where we develop regulations and general guidance within the work environment field together with other units in the Regulation Department. The unit contributes to the development of the authority through, among other things, governing and supporting documents and by implementing new legislation. We conduct training for our colleagues at the authority and contribute to developing processes. Together we work toward unified and legally secure operations. Your New Position You will become an important part of the Regulatory Legal Unit, which currently consists of 12 knowledgeable and engaged legal counselors and a unit manager. You will work with internal legal advice and support with a focus on regulatory work, EU law, and administrative law. You will also respond to consultations and participate in projects. The role also includes conducting training and information initiatives on legal matters and contributing to increasing internal knowledge. You will participate in working groups and various internal collaboration forums where you contribute your legal expertise. The role involves close collaboration with other professionals besides lawyers, as well as contact with external stakeholders. You will also collaborate with lawyers within the inspection operations. The Swedish Work Environment Authority is a knowledge organization, and therefore your tasks will vary greatly. Your Background The role requires that you have: - A law degree (juristexamen or jur.kand.) - At least 3 years of current experience with qualified legal work - Knowledge of EU law - Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English It is meriting if you have: - Notarial service experience - Good knowledge of administrative law - Experience working with regulations As a person, we believe you will thrive in this role if you see opportunities in change, have a solution-oriented approach, and show confidence in your ability to handle challenges.
