Järfälla is located two miles northwest of Stockholm Central Station, with approximately 80,000 residents. Although the city is close by—20 minutes by commuter train or car to Stockholm Central—most services and amenities are available within the municipality. The Property Management Department consists of approximately 50 employees and is responsible for approximately 430,000 m2 of floor space, including schools, preschools, cultural and sports facilities, and care and housing facilities, of which over 100,000 m2 are leased spaces and apartments distributed across nearly 200 agreements. We need to recruit an experienced property manager for one of our management areas. The department consists of 3 units. In addition to the Management Unit, there is also a Project Management Unit responsible for renovations and expansions, and a Customer and Technology Unit. The department is characterized by good atmosphere, development with the customer at the center, and employees with high competence. DUTIES As a property manager, you will have overall responsibility for a number of properties in your area of responsibility. You will function as a property owner and be responsible for developing and managing your portfolio in close collaboration with colleagues in the property management department. The role involves leading the management with drive and commitment and having primary responsibility for your management area. You have many points of contact and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. Therefore, it is important that you are clear, structured, and have good social and communication skills. (If you are reading this on LinkedIn, click the apply button to proceed to the application form and the complete job posting) QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Academic education in property management, economics, or engineering or equivalent experience. • Good knowledge of leasing and negotiations. • Previous experience with property management responsibility. • The ability to think service-oriented and work customer-focused. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Economic understanding, especially in property economics. • Driver's license category B is a requirement.
