Help Build the Partille of the Future Over the coming decades, Partille city center is expected to grow with thousands of new residents, more workplaces, and new infrastructure. To meet this development, we are driving several of the municipality's most extensive and strategically important urban development projects and are now seeking a development engineer with a primary focus on leading larger projects. Responsibilities As a development engineer, you are responsible for the municipality's urban development and development projects. You lead and coordinate the projects in close cooperation with colleagues and other specialists to create sustainable and long-term solutions. In the role, you are responsible for, among other things: Driving and coordinating urban development and development projects Responding for project economics and implementation matters Participating in and contributing to the development of new detailed plans Negotiating, establishing, and following up on land allocation, development, and implementation agreements Handling land and property law matters Preparing decision-making materials and conducting economic analyses Collaborating with landowners, builders, authorities, residents, politicians, and other stakeholders. You have an important role in driving the processes forward and ensuring that all parties involved are kept informed about project development, conditions, and decisions. The role requires strong implementation focus where you translate plans and strategies into concrete results and ensure that projects deliver according to decided goals and expectations. In addition to your role as project manager, you will also contribute to the ongoing work tasks of the land and development unit. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a strong interest in infrastructure and urban development issues and experience leading complex projects within urban development. You have: A civil or university engineering degree in infrastructure, surveying, or another education that the employer deems equivalent Experience in urban planning, property development, development, or project development Experience driving larger and complex projects Good knowledge of the laws and regulations governing physical planning and land development Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. It is advantageous if you have experience working in municipal operations and larger urban development projects. As a person, you are structured, driven, and self-directed. You take responsibility for your work, plan long-term, and deliver results of high quality. You have good analytical skills and can weigh technical, economic, and legal perspectives in complex matters. At the same time, you are flexible and see opportunities when conditions change. Since the role involves many contact points, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and create trusting relationships. You communicate clearly, are responsive, and have the ability to drive matters forward in a solution-oriented and professional manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
