You will be part of a team that works from concept through project completion and operational facilities in the industrial sector. We work collaboratively, enjoy learning from each other, and accomplish exciting things together. We lead advanced electrical power projects for external clients ranging from heavy petrochemical operations to automotive development and manufacturing to complex hospital facilities. We also support various divisions within AFRY with our specialized electrical power expertise. This means we have a presence across AFRY's entire customer base, which is incredibly exciting. As an Electrical Power Engineer, you will play an important role in our organization and electrical power projects. You will work with our customers throughout the region as well as be part of in-house projects. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to work with: Preparing specifications for low and medium voltage switchgear. Investigations and feasibility studies. Technical consulting. Network calculations and protection plans. You will also have the opportunity to act as project manager, which involves direct customer and budget responsibility in projects. There are also excellent opportunities to work in other electrical power-related areas such as relay testing, measurement and power quality analysis, and inspections. Must-have Requirements Post-secondary education in electrical power systems. Several years of professional experience in electrical power, preferably with prior experience as an engineer or project manager. Class B driver's license. Very strong knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as communication with customers and colleagues is a natural part of the work. Very strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is required in dialogue with both customers and colleagues. Merits Experience with construction law, AMA, and AutoCAD as well as familiarity with technical documentation and report writing. Experience working with calculation software Febdok or other network calculation programs. Practical experience working as a service/industrial electrician.
