About the Operation Hagaskolan is an operation where safety, academic focus, and order form the foundation upon which we build our students' academic success. The school opened in 2019 and is a municipal primary school for students in grades F-9 with approximately 850 students and 100 employees. Hagaskolan is located near Vallentuna Center with good transportation links and nature close by. The school has purpose-built facilities, outdoor classrooms, and a large, beautiful schoolyard that invites both social and academic learning. Since spring 2022, Hagaskolan has been an accredited Erasmus+ school, which means we place extra emphasis on internationalization. Job Responsibilities In this role, you work closely with an individual student who requires assistance throughout the school day. The assignment involves following and supporting the student in all of the school's different environments and situations – in the classroom, during breaks, and in social settings. The work is designed to meet the student's specific needs, with the overall goal always being to strengthen the student's independence by adapting activities and situations so the student can participate as independently as possible according to their abilities. As a student assistant, you provide goal-oriented pedagogical and practical support to make teaching and the school environment accessible during lessons and breaks. The role also includes providing the practical support needed for general daily living activities (ADL). By adapting activities and situations based on the student's specific abilities, you actively work to promote and strengthen the student's independence. You also guide and support the student in social interaction with other students and in various social settings. To ensure continuous and secure schooling, you also work closely with the student's teacher, other school staff, and guardians.
