We are looking for an experienced building systems technician who wants to take long-term responsibility for the operation, service, and development of our technical building systems. The role involves comprehensive responsibility for technical operations where you combine practical maintenance with technical analysis, system understanding, and professional service to our operations and tenants.
Responsibilities
As a building systems technician, you are responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the building's technical installations. Your responsibilities include:
Performing troubleshooting, planned maintenance, and corrective measures for building technical systems
Conducting inspections, monitoring, and maintenance of technical systems
Managing and optimizing control and monitoring systems
Acting as a stakeholder representative with contractors and following up on orders, quality, and warranty matters
Planning, managing, and executing minor maintenance projects including communication with clients and subcontractors
Documenting completed work and contributing to improvements in procedures and work methods
Serving as an advisor on issues related to operational optimization, energy matters, and technical correlations
Collaborating with operations, tenants, and suppliers on technical matters
Serving as facility manager for fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Performing weekly/monthly tests. Following up on contractors' completed inspections and maintenance
The role includes handling remarks from regulatory inspections
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
Building technical education at least at upper secondary level or equivalent experience
At least three years of experience as a building systems technician in a property environment
Good knowledge of electrical systems, ventilation, heating, plumbing, control and automation systems, and monitoring systems
Ability to read drawings and understand technical correlations
Basic IT skills and strong ability to document work
Swedish in speech and writing
Category B driver's license
Meritorious:
Experience with fire alarm and sprinkler systems
Qualification for basic electrical work
Advanced knowledge of energy optimization
Experience with access control systems and burglar alarms
